Puppy Life Lessons

Set your puppy up for success, so you can have the dog you dreamed of. Together we will promote confidence using exploration, age-appropriate physical activities and fun games. Through it all your pup will start developing the good manners needed to fit into our human world. This class is open to pups 8-16 weeks old.

Puppy Life Lessons at Home

I will come to your home or meet at a park, trail, or other puppy friendly location. Your puppy will learn about real world situations in a safe and loving manner. You may choose to be present for lessons or not if you have other obligations. You may schedule individual visits, or purchase a package of six or twelve lessons at a reduced rate. Packages are located at the end of the scheduling page. If you prefer group classes you can register your sixteen week or younger puppy. Lessons are held at 13 Contractor Drive, Hermon, ME, United States, Maine

Foundation Manners

Learn how to gently promote the bond you dreamed of when you adopted your dog. This class teaches you how to get the best from your dog. Learn the basics of sit, down, come, and stay while engaging in fun games and exercises.

Advanced Manners

Your dog has the basics down and you are asking yourself, "What's next?" This is the class you need to take your skills to the next level. Recalls from away, leash walking politely, and extended stays are just a few of the behaviors you can teach your dog.

Cooperative Care

Do you dread trips to the vet? Does your dog struggle with body handling and grooming? Join this class and be your dog's hero. Learn how to communicate with your dog by allowing the freedom of choice. We will teach your dog how to volunteer or opt out of an activity. As you earn your dog's trust, the bond between you will flourish.

Private Lessons

If you prefer private lessons, contact us for one-on-one virtual or in person lessons as circumstances dictate.  Aggression cases will be referred to a specialist. There is a $25 travel fee for house calls more than 25 miles from Bangor. Private lessons are held on Sundays. Click the "Book Now" button for availability.
