Puppy Life Lessons

Set your puppy up for success, so you can have the dog you dreamed of. Together we will promote confidence using exploration, age-appropriate physical activities and fun games. Through it all your pup will start developing the good manners needed to fit into our human world. This class is open to pups 8-16 weeks old.

Foundation Manners

Learn how to gently promote the bond you dreamed of when you adopted your dog. This class teaches you how to get the best from your dog. Learn the basics of sit, down, come, and stay while engaging in fun games and exercises.

Intermediate Manners

Your dog has the basics down and you are asking yourself, "What's next?" This is the class you need to take your skills to the next level. Recalls from away, improved leash walking, and stronger stays are just a few of the behaviors you can teach your dog.

Advanced Skills

Your dog is turning into a rock star. This is getting fun, now. Let's polish those skills you have worked so hard on. This is the class you want if you are going on to play Rally-O, preparing for CGC, or just honing you skills as your dog's teacher.

Hoops and Stanchions

This sport dog class uses speedway hoops and stanchions to develop your handling skills. The dog will learn distance and independent movement skills in a low pressure environment. We will also throw in some crosses and start line stays to round things out.

Private Lessons

If you prefer private lessons, contact us for one-on-one virtual or in person lessons as circumstances dictate.  Aggression cases will be referred to a specialist. There is a $25 travel fee for house calls more than 25 miles from Bangor. Private lessons are held on Sundays. Click the "Book Now" button for availability.

Agility will return this summer

Whether for home exercise or competition, agility training is a great way to build your dog’s confidence and strengthen your bond. This beginner course will focus on connecting with your dog and basic handling techniques and obstacle performance. Dogs must have a reliable recall and respect a four foot fence.
